Non-Violent Gopher, Mole and Vole Control

This lecture focuses on techniques that do not harm nuisance animals. Methods such as exclusion, deterring animals with non toxic applications of liquids and sprays, and live trapping techniques.  This presentation will empower a gardener to take actions that will relieve the stress of sharing too much of a garden's yield with gophers and other vegetarian critters.  An overview of most of the non violent products sold in stores and on the Internet and in urban myths will be reviewed on a basis of first hand experience for effectiveness.

Not only will tracking and trapping methods be presented, relocation agencies will be discussed as well as likely locations for successful relocation.

Additionally, this lecture often has a second speaker, Nicola Amadora, Ph. D who spent seven years in the Findhorn Garden in Scotland learning, among other biodynamic processes, how to communicate with animal and plant divas. Nicola will describe the art of creating energy barriers to keep out unwanted visitors and will lead the audience through a meditation as an introduction of connecting with the spirit of the problem animal.
